Type: Rhipsalis salicornioides Haw

- Stems usually with areoles of two types: lateral rudimentary ones and apical, more felty areoles that produce stems and flowers. Flowers yellow, yellow-orange to lilac-red. Ovary naked, angled or round. Fruit usually white, naked. Seed black.

- Brazil: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Bahía.
