- Stems thin, 1,5 cm diameter, green. Ribs obtuse. Areoles wide apart, small, with felt and bristles. Spines 2-3(-4), short, stout, 1-2 mm long, dark brown. Flower large pink. Scales on receptacle rather short. Outer petals narrow, greenish yellow, edges and tips red. Inner petals red-pink. Stigma lobes not dissected. Fruit unknown.
